Smokey V 5 Lying Hoes

What in the World is Going on with Smokey Robinson?!

Okay, y'all, I just finished filming a video about this wild story, and I still can't wrap my head around it. If you saw the video, you know I was scrolling through the internet, minding my own business, and then BAM! Smokey Robinson is being accused of... well, let's just say some really serious stuff. And honestly, the deeper I dug, the more confusing it got.

You probably saw the headlines, because they’re everywhere now. "Smokey Robinson criminal investigation grows as the fifth woman goes to the police." My immediate thought was, "Smokey Robinson?! The Motown legend? How long you been taking booty for, Smokey? Seriously, this man is a cultural icon, shouting out for decades, making timeless music, and now this? It feels like the new distraction, doesn't it? Since Diddy's in the wind, they gotta give us something else to talk about.

The Confusing Report & Tony Busby Vibes

So, I’m looking at this report, and it’s from TSR, but then it says TMZ. Classic online blog grimy stuff, right? Why can’t everyone just use AI like the rest of us and generate their own stories without all the conflicting sources? (Just kidding… mostly.) FYI Gemini Did write most of this. I mainly act as the editor plus I'm doing the deep dives. AI just reading what I said 😆.

Then it hits me: this whole thing has serious Tony Busby production vibes. For those who don't know, Tony Busby is an attorney known for high-profile cases with multiple accusers, often leading to a media frenzy. Remember back in the day with those Jazzy Fae productions? Yeah, it's giving that energy.

According to Christopher Frost, Robinson's attorney, these are "public allegations by four interconnected Jane Does and their shared attorneys." He claims their "only focus is on exposing the falsity of the Doe lawsuit where the Does and her lawyers have taken a hit and run approach, making allegations against the beloved 85 year old cultural icon." An 85 year old! Smokey is older than my oldest family member was when they passed! This is just wild. Frost also pointed out that the women are "refusing to reveal their identities or unequivocally sit for deposition where truth can be actually determined." And get this Smokey Robinson is actually suing them back for $500 million! Talk about flipping the script.

The Allegations: Are These Numbers Even Real?

The news continued to pour in. Premier Timer reported that the "fifth woman files battery report with police against the Motown singer" on July 25th (which was just yesterday!). This is where things get really murky.

Let's break down some of these unbelievable claims:

May 6th, 2025: Four women (three former housekeepers and one former personal assistant to Smokey's wife) file a lawsuit, accusing him of alleged assault between 2007 and 2024.

The first accuser claimed she was allegedly assaulted seven times from 2023 to 2024. Think about that: Smokey Robinson would have been 83-84 years old during this period.

The second accuser claimed 23 times! That would push him back to being around 76-80 years old for those alleged incidents.

The third alleged victim stated it happened at least 20 times from 2013 to 2014, when he was still in his 70s.

The fourth woman worked for Smokey's wife, Frances Robinson, and accused Frances of racially charged harassment. She also claimed Smokey assaulted her twice. So, was he racist or was he assaulting her? It’s confusing.

The women, reportedly of Hispanic descent, are seeking $50 million in damages, claiming they didn't quit or speak up due to fear of public scrutiny and financial decline. My immediate thought? Did y'all just get fired? I don't want to jump to conclusions, but something just doesn't sit right with me.

What's even more eyebrow-raising is that the five alleged victims are represented by the same attorneys, John Harris and Herbert Hayden. Christopher Frost, Smokey's lawyer, referred to them as "Interconnected Jane Does" and basically said this is a "hit and run approach to defame the famed cultural icon." And honestly, having the same legal team for multiple accusers in this type of case? That just screams conflict of interest to me.
On May 6th, 2025, Harris publicly called Smokey Robinson a "serial and sick whore" in a press conference. He claimed his clients were filled with shame and embarrassment and for years couldn't share details with their family, emphasizing that they were low-wage housekeepers who couldn't afford to quit.

On May 7th, Christopher Frost told The Hollywood Reporter that these allegations were "vile and false" and "orchestrated to create a media circus."

My Take: Another Circus?

This whole situation just smells like a media circus. It reminds me of when there are rumors of a "list" that's supposed to come out, and then it never does. When you hear claims that just don't add up, like an 85-year-old man allegedly assaulting people dozens of times over years… it's hard to believe without solid, verifiable proof.

What do you guys think? Is this another Tony Busby production, or is there something more to these shocking claims against a music legend? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
