WHY WAS HE FIRED?

You won't believe the wild story I stumbled upon today a Texas funeral home employee got fired for posting a photo with a gun in a casket just to get some social media clout! I had to dig into this crazy news, and we're going to break down all the bizarre details, pausing for some occasional commentary.

Apparently, this 21 year old employee at Alexander's Mortuary in the Highlands area was "infatuated with social media" and just trying to go viral and get his likes up. But things took a hard left turn when a video surfaced, initially showing a man dressed up, then panning to a nude woman. The owner, Melvin, revealed that the person who recorded the video was actually invited by the deceased's family to cut the man's hair ahead of the funeral. Yes, you heard that right someone was supposed to be preparing the deceased for their funeral, and instead, we have this chaos!

I'm questioning if this was even an illegal act, or if this could be a wrongful termination. Is it against the rules to have a firearm at the workplace, or to take pictures? And seriously, was he fired for the gun photo, or was he "getting freaky at work" as some of the video implies? The owner says the "young lady violated our trust" and that she's "been here before to do work." It's a truly wild and disturbing situation, and the owner, who's served the community for over 40 years, is deeply hurt and saddened by this blemish on his funeral home's reputation.

What would you do if you found out this happened at your loved one's funeral? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
